It's true that spring is a time of transition into the warmer summer months, and while many may be content to sit back and wait for the heat to kick in, the wise will use the time to get started on any outstanding home DIY projects.

We've got another project you may want to have a think about: giving your home a well-deserved spring clean. So what do you need to get started?

    Care for your lawn

We'll start off easy. Get out into the garden one weekend with lawn mowers from Kennards Hire. We've got a pretty substantial range, and you can use them to tackle either overgrown areas or even lawns that receive a cut on a regular basis.

Starting off with the lawn is a great idea, and it's often one of the easier projects for your spring home renovations.

Clean the outside of your home

The roof, walls, pathways and other concrete surfaces surrounding your home may be quite dirty, and it could be a good idea to bring out one of our powerful pressure cleaners to really give them a good clean. Our 2000PSI pressure cleaner, for example, is the best tool for cleaning driveways, walls and other surfaces.

    Touch up the paint work

For most of us, we're going to have painted walls either inside or outside our home, and these are prone to fading and damage over time. Why not use spring to pull out the paint cans and touch up any areas that are looking a little spotty? You may even want to repaint certain areas of the house.

You'll likely want to consider also hiring ladders and trestles before getting to work, as these can help to keep you safe while painting.

    Create a new pathway

If cleaning just won't cut it, and you feel a need to actually get out there and lay a new pathway, then we've got the concrete tools you'll need. You'll firstly need a mixer to create the appropriate mixture, and then saws and cutters to create the necessary layout. Afterwards, you'll likely be left with a path that looks great!

Spring is here, and we've got a pretty substantial range of equipment available to give your home the clean it deserves. Of course, if you need heavy duty gear to lay new pathways or even repaint your home, we can certainly help you out. Make sure to get in touch with Kennards Hire today!
