Some construction and DIY jobs can be difficult to carry out on ground level, but what about those that need to be done at a significant height?

If you're working with heavy or dangerous tools and machinery it's vital that you have stable footing and are set in a comfortable position to get the job done right, and to also look out for your safety.

Access equipment such as scissor lifts, cherry pickers and boom lifts make carrying out these jobs much more safer and efficient.

Kennards has a wide range of access lifts available - but which one is best suited to your task?

    Boom lifts

Boom lifts are reliable, versatile machines that offer greater manoeuvrability than scissor lifts.

This makes them ideal for complicated projects that require access to a range of different tight spaces.

    Scissor lifts

Scissor lifts are ideal for providing a safe space for one or more people to work at the same time.

Some of the larger units include an extending deck, so that there is extra work space when it is required.

    Manlifts

When only one person requires access to an area, a manlift can be used to complete the task.

A manlift is often the best device to use because of its lightweight elevating platform, which rises to the appropriate position, and provides necessary safety rails for meticulous work.
