Equipment hire during bushfire season

With summer well underway, many Australian households continue to brace themselves for bushfire season.

Small grass fires and hazard reduction are commonplace during this time of the year and it is vital to keep the public informed of such events.

While volunteer fire services around the country deliver important information regarding fire bans and restrictions, the news may not always reach residents or those visiting areas prone to bushfires.

Often relying on websites and radio stations to relay warnings, state emergency services may wish to have hire equipment such as variable message signs (VMS) or traffic alerts on hand during these times.

The threat of a bushfire requires immediate action and one of the quickest ways to reach a large audience is through roadside VMSs.

The completely portable digital road signs can be moved to various locations throughout the day in order to target major arterial roads or advise drivers of changed traffic conditions and messages can be amended regularly.

Traffic signs can be used to indicate changed speed zones or stop/slow conditions, while barricades are also available for hire.
