The first day of spring is coming up, and that means the flowers will soon be blooming and the trees will be full of colourful buds.

But along with these welcome signs of spring also come the inevitable overgrowth, weeds and months of unkempt lawns. When you get out into the yard to take back control over your domain, you'll need the right tools to do it efficiently.

Kennards has all the tools you'll need, including chainsaws to tackle the really big jobs. Say a winter storm brought a branch down and it's been sitting in your yard all winter. Now's the time to break the branch up into more manageable pieces.

You could use these blocks or chips for building projects, compost bins, firewood or any other function so they don't go to waste. But whatever you do with them, they'll no longer be in your yard and in the way of your landscaping.

When you need to tackle branches that are high up in the tree, you may want to choose a telescopic chainsaw that can extend as far as 4 metres, leaving no ugly branch out of reach.
