Cherry pickers, also known as man lifts, aren't just for use in the construction industry. While their self-propelled structure and narrow width makes them perfect for accessing those hard-to-reach places, they are also perfect for  film and television sites.

No matter whether your production is a large-scale movie set, a smaller television commercial or school film project, cherry picker hire can make the project much easier. A cameraman can safely stand in the basket of the lift and obtain high angle or bird's eye view shots that will make all the difference in your finished product.

Some film sets hire helicopters or cranes to get these swooping landscape shots, but hiring a cherry picker is a more realistic and affordable option for most. Cherry pickers require little assistance to use, can access narrow and awkward locations and are easily transportable. What's more, they can be controlled from on the ground or inside the basket, so even if you only have a couple of people in your film crew, you can still get that perfect shot.
