Kennards expands specialist equipment hire in Qld
Kennards Lift & Shift and Kennards Pump & Power have expanded into far north Queensland.
The two specialist equipment hire divisions of Kennards Hire are operating initially from the general equipment hire centre in Hartley Street, Garbutt.
Their new location puts them closer to mining operations in far north Queensland, which they previously supplied from hire centres in Brisbane.
Kennards Lift & Shift specialises in providing equipment and technical advice for moving heavy or bulky loads, safely and efficiently.
Its range includes air and material hoists, torque tools, hydraulic lifting equipment, glass handlers, gantries and cable hauling equipment.
Kennards Pump & Power is a specialist hirer of big pumps and big generators, and, where needed, its expert staff can advise on what is best for specific jobs.
Generators can be supplied in sizes from 20kVA to 1MW, and all are suitable for use in mining, while the pumps fleet includes extra high head units built, built to mine specifications.
The pumps range includes skid mounted and towable, trailer-mounted units, and extends from 300mm (12in) to 100mm (4in), with submersible drainage and sludge pumps also available.
