In this guide, we show you how to prepare a concrete floor for tiling, and how to lay tiles to produce a professional showroom-quality finish.
THE EQUIPMENT YOU'LL NEED
For grinding a floor you’ll need a:
- Single head grinder
- Grinder edger
- Vacuum to attach both machines
- Small hand grinder with its own vacuum attachment if you have tough to reach spots
For smaller areas like a bathroom or laundry, you’ll only need the smaller grinder edger and the hand grinder.
Safety equipment is a must, including goggles, dust mask and ear muffs.
