Kennards Hire acquires specialist temporary power rental company

Hire equipment leader, Kennards Hire, has acquired Sydney based, market specialist temporary power rental business, Power Distribution Rentals (PDR).

PDR have built a reputation for excellence in supplying the event, movie and industrial markets with generators, switchboards and cables along with installation and expert advice for more than fifteen years.

The team at PDR have designed, developed and deployed temporary power and electrical solutions for some of the world’s biggest performers, events and film sets including ‘Australia’ with Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman, Groovin’ in the Moo, New Year’s Eve Sydney, VIVID and the Perth Fringe Festival.

Bringing these specialist capabilities together with Kennards Hire’s extensive network and range of products will provide customers with an innovative and integrated service offering. The synergies the acquisition affords will enable Kennards Hire to offer a more comprehensive and complete solution for events Australia wide.
