If you're an avid DIYer and you're in the market for an electric breaker, make sure you choose one that will offer enough power to get the job done right.

For smaller projects, it may be best to go with a light 10-kilogram electric breaker. These hammers are ideal for removing tiles, slicing through bitumen and tearing through hard-packed clay, but you won't have to worry about causing too much damage to any underlying infrastructure.

These are also perfect for working horizontally, or anywhere that could potentially be a tight squeeze.

On the opposite end of the spectrum you'll find heavy duty 33-kilogram jack hammers that were designed to tackle the toughest terrain and break it up into manageable pieces. This machine offers an impact equal to a 28-kilogram pneumatic hammer, and there are several bit options to meet the needs of any project you take on.

These are just the basic types of electric breakers you may need. Other options include small, cordless hammer drills, large petrol-powered hammers, hydraulic power packs and trolleys for transporting all of these items.

All these products and more are available from Kennards Hire to suit your specific needs.
