If you are thinking about making some changes around your rental property it is important that you know what you can and cannot do.

Replacing old curtains with modern wooden or venetian blinds will make more of a difference than you would think - letting more light into a room can enhance space and lift the atmosphere.

Alternatively, you could trade in your DIY skills for decorating ideas - personalising your rental through making some changes to your soft furnishings.

Buying some new cushion covers and throw rugs can really brighten up a room. Or why not unleash your creative side and decorate your own cushions!
