Floods and cracked pipes can happen anytime, anywhere, and in many cases homeowners will need professional assistance when it comes to restoring their houses.
For one recent flood recovery project, Kennards Hire supplied the right equipment that made it easy for one company to restore a home back to its original state. Using only a small, 240V infrared heater, Garry Gibson Plumbing was able to perform the right sub-floor drying techniques.
The company stated that localised flooding had compromised an area of the floor, and although the experts were able to get rid of most of the standing water, they still needed the drier to finish the job.
"We did some drainage work and then needed to dry out the area before waterproofing. The problem was a lack of space, so we needed a dryer that was small but still effective," said Mr Gibson.
Kennards Hire recommended Mr Gibson use the small heater, saying it would provide plenty of power for what he needed.
One Gibson Plumbing worker said the heater was "fantastic," and that its ease of use made the whole job much simpler.
Kennards Hire has a whole range of heaters, dryers and dehumidifiers that are perfect for any small flood cleanup.
