As one of the most used rooms in a home, it is likely that at some point your kitchen will need a little bit of TLC to give it a fresh and revitalised style.

Blue brilliance:
Blue is a peaceful, calming colour great for the bathroom and kitchen and the best thing is it comes in so many different shades - indigo, denim and azure to name a few. You can either paint the walls a shade of blue, or accessorise your cabinets and fittings. Blue watery splashbacks are also trendy at the moment.

Buttery yellow:
Yellow is a soft, warming colour for this room and evokes images of the more traditional, classic kitchen. If you find yellow a bit overwhelming, but still want to incorporate this tone into your kitchen, experimenting with this hue in curtains can still brighten up the room without an overkill of yellow.
