Kennards Hire Lift & Shift’s customer was tasked with the urgent job of installing 300 glass panels as a sound-barrier along the Pacific Highway in Byron Bay - a job that requires extreme engineering and safety precision to complete. After contacting the Kennards Hire Lift & Shift branch in Rocklea, looking for an efficient and safe solution for hanging and attaching the glass panels using their cranes, Branch Manager Dave Fellows was able to provide the customer with the machinery and the advice to get the job done.
Dave assisted in the full solution hire, and fast-tracked the freighting of two 12V Glass Lifters (320KG & 635KG) interstate, on the same day - solving the customer’s woes.
Glass Lifter vacuum units come equipped with a crane arm for turning and tilting. They are a safe solution for lifting, shifting and placing glass, they aid to eliminate manual handling to keep all users at a safe distance and free from the exertion of any lifting. The ability to accurately pinpoint the required position and install the glass into the support tracks also makes the overall job much safer and simpler.
