JLG Industries crowned Kennards Hire Supplier of the Year 2018

Leading designer and manufacturer of access equipment, JLG Industries (Australia), has been crowned Kennards Hire’s Supplier of the Year 2018.  JLG also took home gold in the ‘Every Customer Is A Raving Fan’ category at the leading family-owned hire company’s bi-annual Supplier Awards Night.

Held at the Kennards Hire Artarmon Branch on Thursday 5 April, this year’s Supplier Awards Night also marked the business’ 70th anniversary, having started out in Bathurst, New South Wales in 1948.

With over 170 branches across Australia and New Zealand, the Kennards Hire team are surveyed on how their suppliers’ best met the company’s four values. These results are averaged out to determine the Supplier of the Year, as well as the individual Value Award finalists and winners.

Although there were many winners on the night, one supplier in particular stood out above the rest, embodying the fundamental values of Kennards Hire. Not only did JLG Industries (Australia) win Supplier of the Year for 2018, they received silver for the ‘Taking Hire Higher’ and ‘Fair Dinkum’ categories, and won gold for ‘Every Customer A Raving Fan’.

From all the new product releases in the previous year, Stihl Australia was awarded gold for their Cordless Cut Off Saw – the TSA230. ASPAC Group’s Athena Bi-Levelling Scissor Lift and D&D Group’s PORTABOOM™ came in as close finalists.

The first Kennards Hire New Zealand Supplier Awards will be held at Eden Park on Tuesday, 10 April.
