Electric breaker hits as hard as a 30kg air model

The performance of a new model, heavy electric breaker from Kennards Hire was praised after it was used to remove 50 tonne of sandstone during an under-house renovation.

“It’s the best I have seen in terms of power, shock absorption and productivity,” said Ian, who operates handyman and maintenance business, Fusion Properties.

“It worked longer, better and the points stayed sharper.”

Kennards Hire is progressively introducing the new electric model, which hits as hard as a 30kg air breaker, with minimal vibration. It will break up to six tonne of concrete per hour.

The Kennards’ range also includes air-breakers, hydraulic-powered breakers and smaller electric models.

Hydraulic powered hammers have impact equivalent to a 33kg pneumatic model, and the power pack is more manageable than an air compressor.
