Cable bellmouths

Cable bellmouths are designed to help reduce friction on cables, and also minimalise damage caused by steel haul wires. They allow for the damage-free transit of cables into conduits, in sizes suiting conduits up to 200mm.

Air blow cones

These are used to help blow small rope or tape through a duct, and can be secured against the wall of a pit to blow 3mm or 6mm materials. They come in a range of sizes, suitable for most jobs.

Mandrels

Another useful cable hauling accessory is the mandrel, which is used to help ensure there are no blockages within a conduit before a cable is hauled through it. The aluminium-cast also makes sure the conduit is in good condition.

Swivels

Manufactured from high grade stainless steel, swivels are designed to assist with easy passage through sheaves.

Cable jacks

Cable jacks are available in a variety of sizes and types, from levered to screw hinged. In essence, these jacks help with safe and easy handling of heavy cable drums, and usually come with handles and wheels for transport and ease of handling.

Large eight tonne jacks come with two hydraulic jacks that give the top roller assemblies a Certified Working Load Limit, as well as adjustable frontal roller assemblies for smaller drums. You can also brake the rotation of the drum by using the mechanical disc brake.

Cable pull jinker

The jinker is a trailer that allows the cable drum to be operated by one person, and can be towed from one location to the next. This cuts down on the time and labour required to transport drums, and the individual hydraulic controls mean the drums can be picked up from uneven surfaces.

Cable winches

Cable winches come in different sizes and levels of power, and assist with cable pulling over long distances. Many have engine accelerators which cut down on the human labour required to operate them. Different speeds are available, depending on how quickly the job needs to be completed.
