Kennards Hire Builds Extreme Rallycross Championship Momentum

Momentum continues to build behind the 2015 SIDCHROME EXTREME Rallycross Championship. In the latest coup, Kennards Hire have been announced as a series partner, no doubt a strategic alliance for both parties.

“We are always looking for new and innovative opportunities in which to engage the members of our target market,” said Matt Hankin, Head of Marketing, Kennards Hire. “And when the team from EXTREME Rallycross approached us we knew it was a chance to get involved at the ground level with a championship that has huge potential.”

It certainly looks like a match made in heaven. The arrangement sees Kennards Hire providing a huge amount of infrastructure for each of the seven championship rounds.

“One of the unique but challenging things about the SIDCHROME EXTREME Rallycross Championships is the track build,” explained Matt. “Just have a think about the first round for a moment. They’re literally building a racetrack in the carpark at the Mudgeeraba Sporting Complex, beside the M1 Motorway on the Gold Coast!”

“As you can imagine, building a racetrack in a carpark is a massive project, but with Rallycross it’s all about taking the sport to the fans and we have the know-how and resources to get the job done,” Matt added.

Kennards Hire will be supplying a wide variety of equipment to every event, including fencing, barriers, crowd control and, of course power, but the most important thing they bring to the table is their experience and ‘can do’ attitude.

“There’s no doubt that we’ll come up against challenges at each round, especially in this the first championship season, but at Kennards Hire we have fostered a problem solving culture,” Matt remarked. “Our branch managers are responsible for identifying potential issues at each site and will then work with the team at SIDCHROME EXTREME Rallycross to make sure everything is right when the gates open.”
