The Sea Eagles and Roosters are ready for the big game - are you?

This Sunday, October 6, the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles will take on the Sydney Roosters to fight for the title of National Rugby League Grand Final champions.

Considering ANZ Stadium has already hosted three NRL matches this year with crowds that topped 80,000, Sunday's game is expected to be a ruckus to say the least. Tickets sold out months ago, and a record number of pre-sale tickets were distributed.

To add to the drama, both team's vital players - Rooster Mitchell Pearce and Sea Eagle Kieran Foran - have been best mates since they were kids.

We'll see if that lasts once they take to the field.

If you're like most Australians, though, you'll have to settle for watching the big game at your own house, on your own TV. That's not to say things won't get heated - put a Sea Eagles fan and Rooster supporter on the same couch and you may have a scrum of your own to officiate.

Sure, there's nothing like going to the game and experiencing the sights and sounds first hand, but if you can't be there, you might as well make the most of it.

One of the best ways to do this is to invite friends and family over to celebrate in your own way. Decorating could be as simple as hanging maroon and white streamers around a room (if you're a Sea Eagles fan, of course) or pinning a couple of jerseys on the wall to create a festive banner.

Naturally, opt for red, white and blue if you're a Roosters fan.

If you live under a house divided, good luck.

Do you know a clever way to support your team when going to ANZ Stadium to cheer them on isn't an option? Tell us below, or even better - share some pictures with us!
