Constructing a bridge is no easy feat, especially when it's going to be a roadway. On one hand, you need to use heavy-duty materials to construct the girders and other sections so that the bridge will take the load bearing. However, on the other hand, you still need to be able to get your materials from the depot to the job site and put them in place.

This is where Kennards Hire Lift & Shift comes in, as you'll see in the video below. Last year, we unveiled a number of new spreader beams, expanding our range to be able to cater anywhere from 250 kilograms to 300 tonnes. Offering this large-scale, versatile equipment was a natural progression for us, and a very exciting time in the company. So, you can imagine how excited we were when Tutt Bryant Heavy Lift & Shift approached us to help them lift 39 concrete girders for a road bridge.

They utilised our 300-tonne spreader beam, as it could easily expand to fit the widths of the girders - it can extend up to 26 metres!

If you have a major project coming up that requires heavy lifting of this type, don't hesitate to contact Kennards Hire Lift & Shift today.
