With this broad capability, you can integrate low-emission alternatives where it makes sense - knowing our team is ready to help identify options aligned to your project requirements.
Browse our extensive Sustainable Range equipment, built to support jobs big or small. Whatever you're working on, we've got the equipment to keep your project moving.
We know sustainability is only one part of the project management decision-making process. Cost efficiency, logistics, safety and reliability all matter. That’s why we focus on delivering an easy hire experience backed by expert knowledge and support.
Our teams work closely with project managers and commercial leaders to help streamline planning, manage fleet requirements and keep equipment performing at its best throughout the hire period. The goal is straightforward: give you confidence that choosing more sustainable options won’t add complexity to your job.
For a transmission line relocation project in regional Queensland, we worked with the customer to supply a 15 KVA HYBRID SOLAR GENERATOR that achieved a saving of over 10,000 litres of diesel and 27.5t of CO2 ,across the project, that lasted over 12 months.
Reduced need for fuel also meant fewer supply deliveries simplifying project logistic planning.
All results are calculated compared to a traditional diesel generator running 24/7 for the same period. 1L of diesel creates 2.67kg of CO2. A typical passenger vehicle emits about 4.6 metric tons of CO2 per year.
In regional NSW, our customer had ambitious environmental targets for a rail project site. We supplied and installed a solar-powered equipped site shed, supported by a 10kWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) unit and a backup fuel-efficient diesel generator.
For the 12 week project, the solution achieved an impressive saving of 2,873 litres of diesel, equating to 7.8 tonnes of CO2. This was a saving of 97% compared to a full diesel powered setup.

Let’s not forget, hiring equipment already naturally supports a more sustainable operating model. Instead of owning assets that sit idle or require long-term lifecycle management, you gain access to well-maintained, fit-for-purpose machinery exactly when you need it. This shared-use approach helps reduce waste, optimise utilisation and support more responsible resource consumption across your entire supply chain.
Our commitment is simple: to make it easier for businesses to choose equipment that supports lower-emission project delivery, without compromising on performance or productivity.
The industry is continually moving toward lower-impact ways of working, and we are supporting this in an active, practical role. As new technology emerges, we’re continually exploring and investing in options that can deliver real-world benefits for our customers and their projects.
Whether you’re taking the first steps on your environmental roadmap or building on existing progress, we’re here to support your journey—helping you access dependable, lower-emission equipment that fits seamlessly into your project plans.
