Angus started in the Brookvale branch and partnered with Grant Spradbrow in 1997 in Kennards sole foray into franchising, which also encompassed Mona Vale in 1999. Angus learnt the ropes of the business from Grant, who he describes as one of the best operators in the industry. He ran the most profitable branches in the network, won QOM for quality, and grew revenue by ten times over the seven years he owned them, with the best productivity and financial returns. Angus had proven himself as a strong hire operator. Both branches were sold back to Kennards Hire in 2003, so Angus could start a new venture, Kennards Concrete Care.Andy took a step back from the day-to-day operations of the business, but remained on the board and maintained a keen interest in the companys trajectory.Neville and AndyKennards Hire 1991 1992Kennard separateacquires GKN1, their businesswhich included interests.five New South Wales branches and Sam Greenberg, three Queensland Andys mentor, dies.branches.'
